Helaine Hughes to speak on poison ivy in Greenfield

Helaine Hughes, owner of the Poison Ivy Removal Company, will speak about poison ivy during a Greenfield Conservation Commission program Thursday, June 6, at 7 p.m. at the Stephenson Memorial Library, 761 Forest Road.

Hughes’s presentation will include how to recognize poison ivy, how to avoid it, what is not poison ivy, and what to do when a rash appears with tips for the itch. There will be an opportunity to see poison ivy in its natural habitat. Questions will be taken throughout the presentation.
