The Jaffrey Civic Center, 40 Main St., will host its fourth annual Heart of the Arts Gala Art Auction on Saturday, May 10. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the live auction begins at 7:30 p.m.

More than 85 pieces contributed by regional artists will be available. Nick Prior and Molly Williams of Peterborough Auctions will conduct the live auction of select works. A virtual silent auction is open to the public.

The event raises funds to support the civic center’s operations during a two-year facility improvement project. Proceeds will help maintain programming and services while the building undergoes upgrades.

Foray Event Catering will serve hors d’oeuvres and desserts, and guests can have wine, food and conversation while browsing the artwork. Dragonfly, featuring Judy Blake and Ken Hamshaw, will perform live music in the upstairs Cunningham Gallery.

Artists contributing work include Amy McGregor-Radin, Andrew Niemi, Chris Myott, Craig Stockwell, David Woodward, Edward Merrell, Frankie Brackley Tolman, Gary Custer, Gary Shepard, Gretchen Woodman, James A.
