Jaffrey Civic Center presents Genevieve Groesbeck display

The Jaffrey Civic Center, 40 Main St., Jaffrey, will host "Divergence/Diversity: An Exploration of Colour in Porcelain, Glass, and Paper" by Genevieve Groesbeck from Thursday, May 1, through Saturday, June 14. An opening reception will be held Saturday, May 3, from 5 to 6:30 p.m., with light refreshments.

Groesbeck, a potter since 1984 and a juried member of the League of NH Craftsmen since 1988, specializes in porcelain, stoneware and glass. Her work focuses on translucency, form and color, with techniques including high-fire gas and electric firing, smoked pottery and colored pencil art.

The civic center is open noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. For information, visit jaffreyciviccenter.com.
