Milford Area Communications Center Director Ray Anderson and Greenfield Fire Chief Jeff LaCourse have announced that fire dispatching responsibilities for Greenfield will move to the Milford Area Communications Center. This change will take effect Dec. 11 at 8 a.m. There will be no change to Greenfield Police dispatch services. During this changeover, Anderson and LaCourse state there will be no interruption in emergency communications capabilities or the ability to access emergency services via 911.

Leading up to this change, residents and businesses of Greenfield who subscribe to a private alarm company for the purposes of fire or medical alarm monitoring should notify their company to change the telephone number used for reporting alarms. Residents should also learn the non-emergency public telephone number for the Milford Area Communications Center.

The telephone number for fire alarm system reporting will be 603-673-3135. The non-emergency MACC telephone number is 603-673-1414. Questions regarding this change may be directed to Anderson at director@maccbase.org or LaCourse.

The Milford Area Communications Center would like to remind all to dial 911 immediately for emergencies.
