The Francestown Recreation Commission organized a full day of Independence Day activities Thursday, including a pickleball tournament that drew  37 players and 50 spectators, the reading of the Declaration of Independence, a home run contest, a Patriotic Pet Parade, children’s games and a bonfire and live music in the evening.
