Greenfield’s annual Fire and Ice celebration returned Saturday with a light parade through the center of town to Oak Park, where residents enjoyed a bonfire, fireworks, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and homemade chili, chili dogs and macaroni and cheese. The event is organized by the Greenfield Fire Department and the Greenfield Fire Association, with help from Oak Park Committee, Stephenson Library, Greenfield Historical Society, Greenfield Elementary School PTO, the Greenfield Police Department, Greenfield DPW and many others.
