Letter: Letter was full of fantasy

Over the years, I have earnestly tried to not respond to Brian Somero’s letters to the Ledger-Transcript, but this last one (“Judgments speak volumes”) took me over the top.

Somero’s last paragraph was “(President-elect Donald) Trump is not an angel from heaven, but if he can damper some of the moral and fiscal bankruptcy we’re in, it will be a fantastic start.” Fantastic indeed, full of fantasy, to expect a misogynist, convicted felon, liar and narcissist to dampen some of of the moral and fiscal bankruptcy in our country right now.

I, for one, am holding my breath and praying for this country for the next four years. At 87, I may not be here to watch the saga unfold and am totally convinced, it won’t be pretty.
