Electric Earth Concerts presents “Hot Flamenco!” Sunday, Aug. 4, at 4 p.m. at Temple Congregational Church, 17 Main St. in Temple.

Jazz-flamenco guitarist Juanito Pascual and percussionist José Moreno present a concert of mostly original compositions. They will be joined by New York City-based Spanish Flamenco dancer, teacher and choreographer Nelida Tirado.

Pascual has collaborated with numerous environmental projects and has an ongoing relationship with Earth Train and its Junglewood project in the Panamanian rain forest. In fall of 2013, he was invited to perform at Panama's Biodiversity Museum in association with National Geographic to celebrate Earth Train's collaboration with Jane Goodall.

Moreno is the son of Spanish flamenco dancer Etrella Moreno and singer Pepe de Málaga. He began as a dancer under his mother’s tutelage while still a toddler and has gone on to perform with many of top flamenco artists and companies from Spain and the United States.

Tirado has performed flamenco and Latin dance around the world.

Admission is $30, payable online at electriceathconcerts.org or at the door via cash or check. Students may attend for free. For information contact Joan Epro at 603-499.-6216 or visit the Electric Earth website.
