Christine Destrempes to read from book in Hancock

Artist and author Christine Destrempes will read from her memoir "Unconditioned" on Thursday, March 20, at 7 p.m. in the Daniels Room at the Hancock Town Library, 25 Main St.

"Unconditioned" explores Destrempes’ experiences overcoming the shame of emotional and sexual abuse. The memoir is serialized on Substack at destrempes.substack.com.

Destrempes, a Harrisville resident, is a visual artist known for engaging the public in large-scale installations addressing environmental and social issues.
