Crotched Mountain School in Greenfield is abuzz with excitement and growth as the calendar turns to a new year.
With new staff joining our dedicated team and additional students enriching our school community, we are proud to begin this year with momentum. Serving children and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, disabilities and other life challenges, CMS continues to be a beacon of hope, growth, and opportunity for families across the region.
CMS is part of Seven Hills New Hampshire, an affiliate of the Seven Hills Foundation Division of Children’s Services. This expansive network brings together educators, clinicians, behaviorists, medical specialists and direct support professionals committed to fostering each student’s independence and personal well-being. At CMS, we offer a robust blend of therapeutic, educational and vocational programming tailored to meet the unique needs of students ages 5 to 21.
This year, we are particularly excited about the growing enrollment of transition-age students and the expansion of services designed to prepare them for the next stages of life.
Whether it’s through hands-on vocational training, experiential learning opportunities or daily living skills development, CMS is dedicated to equipping students with the tools they need to succeed both in school and beyond.
Our programs are as innovative as they are comprehensive, ranging from arts and music to adaptive sports and animal care. Students can explore interests and develop skills through activities like farm programs, greenhouse operations and culinary arts. These offerings are grounded in our mission to provide a least-restrictive and nurturing environment where every student can flourish.
Located on a scenic 125-acre campus, CMS offers much more than traditional classroom learning. The campus is home to state-of-the-art facilities, including an Olympic-sized pool, a gymnasium and accessible hiking trails.
Students live in beautifully renovated ranch-style homes, each providing private bedrooms and shared spaces that foster community living. These residences are designed to help students build friendships, practice home management skills and grow their independence.
