Letter: Kennedy for President?

On May 23,, the Monadnock Ledger-Transcript published a letter from Rebecca Hull endorsing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president (“The voice of reason for we the people”). Every time I hear his name, the 1980s song "Lunatic Fringe" pops into my head.

RFK Jr. has gone off the deep end on so many conspiracy theories, it is hard to keep track of them all. Vaccines, brain worms – I expect to hear him state that the Earth is flat any day now. It is telling that virtually his entire extended family -- brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews – think he is a nut job. Then there is that horribly croaky voice of his; I’m not sure that I could handle four years of listening to that. America needs a stable, clear-minded leader, not a crackpot.
