American Hospital Association honors Richard Scheinblum

The American Hospital Association, in partnership with the New Hampshire Hospital Association, recently honored Richard Scheinblum, executive vice president and chief financial officer at Monadnock Community Hospital with the AHA’s 2025 Most Valuable PAC Player award.

Scheinblum was recognized for his leadership, engagement and development of the hospital’s PAC efforts.

“We are so proud to see Rich’s dedication and work recognized at a national level,” stated NHHA President Steve Ahnen. “His leadership in enhancing relationships with legislators and making a positive impact in the state, not to mention his commitment to advancing health, are to be commended.”

Scheinblum has served at MCH for 24 years in various roles and is a member of the NHHA’s board of trustees and various committees.

“His longstanding commitment to the hospital and the NHHA continues to make a lasting impact in advancing the mission of affordable, high-quality health care to the patients and communities hospitals serve in New Hampshire,” stated Ahnen.

The AHA is a not-for-profit association of health care provider organizations and individuals that are committed to the health improvement of their communities. The AHA is the national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks and their patients and communities. Nearly 5,000 hospitals, health care systems, networks, other providers of care and 43,000 individual members form the AHA.

The NHHA mission is to lead through advocacy, education and information in support of its member hospitals and health systems as they strive to improve the health of the individuals and communities they serve.
