It was a strange way to be part of a rally group. We all held our Women For Harris signs. A man parked his truck right in much of the road and climbed out with his Trump sign. The policeman made him move his truck. The man parked somewhere and planked himself on the other side of the road with his Trump sign and a large United States of America flag.

Near the end of the rally, he handed his flag to one of the women holding a Harris sign and she moved several feet away, holding and waving the flag. When we ended our time at the intersection, she gave the flag back to the man.

Fraternizing with the other side was not the intent of our mission. Taking his flag was not a show of solidarity. Of course, the flag belongs to all of us, but not partaking of the other side during our mission's event. What was she thinking? To blend into the other side's work was not a show of support for Harris like all the others on all four sections of the intersection displayed. The rally was not the place for partnership with the opponent's supporter.
