Joan Hanchett Nature Series in Francestown presents talk on nocturnal creatures

The Joan Hanchett Nature Series will present Slater Roosa, education coordinator for Audubon’s Massabesic Center, to speak about nocturnal creatures such as salamanders, owls, bats and skunks Friday, April 5, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Francestown Town Hall.

The program will explore the adaptations of many animals that allow them to navigate in the night. The Joan Hanchett Nature Series is a free program for adults and children of all ages. It is sponsored by the Francestown Land Trust, George Holmes Bixby Memorial Library, Francestown News and the Francestown Conservation Commission.
