Henry Homeyer to speak at Peterborough Garden Club

Henry Homeyer will present “Beyond Perennials: Using Stone, Woody Plants, Art and Whimsy in the Garden’ at the next Peterborough Garden Club meeting Monday, March 11, from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m. at the Sheiling Forest Education Center, 395 Old Street Road.

Homeyer is a lifelong organic gardener who writes a weekly gardening column that appears in 12 newspapers around New England. The public is welcome to attend for $5, payable in cash at the door.

Organized in April 1962, the mission of the Peterborough Garden Club is to encourage and stimulate interest in the beautification of home and public properties and to study and share information on gardening, horticulture, conservation, flower arranging and related topics.  New members are welcomed to join.  For information, visit peterboroughgardenclub.org.
