PETERBOROUGHPUUC holds annual auction

The Peterborough Unitarian Universalist Church (PUUC) is hosting its online spring auction through the end of the week, and will hold its in-person auction Saturday, May 11, at 7 p.m. 

All online items can be found at 32auctions.com/puucauction2024. Bidding concludes at 6 pm, May 10. Winners will be notified by e-mail. The live auction on May 11 (doors open at 6:30 p.m.)  will be at the PUUC Parish Hall, 25 Main St, Peterborough. Masks are optional.

Examples of online bidding opportunities include a handmade quilt, air conditioner, air fryer, original photo note cards, jewelry, original framed artwork and wall hangings. Food includes homemade breads, chocolate-pistachio cake, baklava and home-baked cakes and cookies. Gift cards/certificates for local businesses such as restaurants, yoga studio classes, clothing stores, ice cream stands, hair salons, hardware and lumber stores and other businesses in downtown Peterborough and surrounding areas are also available.

Live auction opportunities will include a hand-painted chair, local artwork, web design and computer assistance, a 1959 Studebaker ride, charcoal drawing of one’s dog, same-day fresh ocean-caught dinner, gardening assistance, leaf-blowing and compost and window-washing.

Proceeds from the auction aid the work of PUUC, including support for several area nonprofits, such as the Shelter from the Storm and MATS, Project Hope (for refugees), 350NH.org and food insecurity programs.
