The Francestown Select Board voted Monday night to include a warrant article requesting the ConVal School Board initiate a feasibility study evaluating the possibility of Francestown withdrawing from the ConVal School District.

The Francestown School Committee submitted the article, which would be non-binding, one day past the deadline

According to committee member Laura Mafera,  the FSC was formed  by a group of residents in order to educate Francestown voters on issues facing the ConVal School District, and to explore potential options for Francestown students outside of ConVal. The FSC includes current and former parents of Francestown Elementary School, homeschool parents and residents who do not have children in the school.

The complete Francestown 2024 warrant is available at francestownnh.org/home/news/2024-budget-hearing
