Civil War talk highlights Bennington and Antrim involvement

Dave Beck of Bennington and Eric Tenney of Antrim will share their knowledge of Bennington’s and Antrim’s involvement in the Civil War during a free talk sponsored by the Bennington Conservation Commission Saturday, Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Bennington Historical Society, 38 Main St. in Bennington.

Beck and Tenney have studied the Civil War involvement of New Hampshire and Bennington and Antrim people, and documented the involvement of those whose names are etched into the town memorials. They have maps, lists, charts and stories about those people and what they did during the war.
